ALTAMURA: A NEW AND MORE MODERN STATION BY THE END OF MAY

By the end of May, Altamura will have a new and modern station. Work is nearing completion on the project that began last March, which includes the construction of a 33-meter canopy extending from the existing one and connected to the railway underpass, the removal of architectural barriers, and the installation of accessible and efficient technologies and services, including turnstiles, information monitors, and free Wi-Fi. In line with other recently renovated FAL stations, it will also be a ‘green’ station, designed with a focus on energy saving and equipped with innovative sustainable mobility and sharing services such as bike sharing. This service has been active in Altamura for about a year and is proving very successful among FAL users, thanks in part to the discounts reserved for them.
