“Deadlines met and commitments kept”. As planned, railway traffic between Bari Centrale and Grumo Appula will be reactivated starting Monday, August 31. Service had been suspended on June 22 from Bari to Gravina; on August 3, it was partially reactivated between Grumo and Gravina (during the entire period, the Company guaranteed service via replacement buses), and from Monday the 31st, regular rail connections will also resume from Bari Centrale station. The interruptions were necessary to carry out extraordinary maintenance, infrastructural upgrades, and works related to the undergrounding of the second track in Modugno; these were scheduled during the summer period to minimize inconvenience as much as possible. While thanking passengers for their cooperation and patience shown during the suspension of rail traffic, the Company announces that the general service schedule in effect prior to the railway interruption will be restored starting Monday the 31st. Information and schedules are available on the corporate Facebook page, the FAL app, by calling the toll-free number 800 050 500, and at stations.
