Timetable Change – Altamura Bus Services

Passengers are hereby informed that, from Monday 8 September 2025, some Altamura bus services will undergo a timetable change. Departures from the intermodal hub in Via Santeramo, corner of Via Scotellaro, will follow the route below:

SS96 – Via Palestro – Via Santeramo – right-hand entrance to the hub for passenger boarding and alighting – exit from Via R. Scotellaro with a left turn – Via Santeramo – Via Palestro – SS96 towards Matera/Gravina/Bari, with a stop at the hub itself in both directions.

The new traffic arrangements in Via Santeramo will not apply between 04:00 and 08:30 and between 12:30 and 15:30, during which time buses will be permitted to transit through the town centre along their usual routes. Train replacement services may continue to operate freely along their designated routes.

The updated timetables for these services will be available in the general weekday and weekend bus service schedules, through the automatic “Search and purchase your journey” function, and in the “Timetables and Fares” section of the website.
