Dear passengers, please be advised that due to extraordinary maintenance works on the Grumo Appula – Altamura railway line, on Saturday, 26 April 2025, rail services between Grumo Appula and Gravina (and vice versa) will be suspended and replaced by bus services, calling at the following stops:

• GRUMO APPULA – Departure and/or arrival terminus at FAL Station;
• Toritto, Via G.A. Pugliese (bus stop at street numbers 314 / 267);
• Altamura, FAL Station forecourt;
• GRAVINA – Departure and/or arrival terminus at FAL Station forecourt.

The reverse route applies to bus journeys from Gravina to Grumo Appula.

Additionally, please be informed that Train no. 12 (Matera Sud – Bari Centrale) departing at 07:45, and Train no. 47 (Bari Centrale – Matera Sud) departing at 18:55, will be cancelled along their entire routes and replaced by bus services, stopping at:

• MATERA SUD – Departure and/or arrival terminus on Via della Quercia;
• Matera Centrale:
  • (Outbound from Matera): Bus stop at Via delle Nazioni Unite;
  • (Inbound to Matera): Bus stop at Via A. Moro;
• Matera Villa Longo – Via Nazionale, FAL Station forecourt;
• Altamura – FAL Station forecourt;
• Toritto – Via G.A. Pugliese (bus stop at street numbers 267 / 314);
• Bari Scalo – Viale Pasteur (AMTAB bus stop connection);
• BARI Centrale:
  • Bus stop at Viale Orazio Flacco (street number 6, Policlinico);
  • Via Capruzzi;
  • Departure and/or arrival terminus on Corso Italia at the FAL Station.

The reverse route applies to the bus journeys from Bari Centrale to Matera Sud.

Please remember that only folding bicycles are permitted on buses, provided they are stored in an appropriate case with maximum dimensions of 70 x 50 x 30 cm.
