Dear passengers, please be advised that due to the 108th Giro d’Italia cycling event, the Municipality of Matera has ordered the closure of certain city roads and all educational institutions from 12:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday, 14 May 2025.

Consequently, all incoming and outgoing FAL bus services in Matera will be subject to the following route changes:

Bus Routes from Bari/Altamura to Matera:

• All buses from Bari/Altamura and FAL replacement bus services towards Matera will terminate at Villa Longo bus stop (arrival terminus and sole passenger drop-off point).

Bus Routes from Matera to Bari/Altamura:

• All buses departing Matera for Bari/Altamura and FAL replacement bus services towards Altamura will depart from Villa Longo bus stop (departure terminus and sole passenger boarding point).

Bus Routes from Ferrandina/Pisticci/Montalbano J. to Matera:

• Buses no. SA 324, 918, 920, 924, and 926, arriving from Ferrandina/Pisticci/Montalbano Jonico, will terminate exclusively at Via Carlo Levi (S. Antonio) for passenger drop-off, due to road closures.

Bus Routes departing Matera to Bari/Ferrandina/Pisticci/Montalbano J./Genzano di L./Potenza:

• Buses no. 909, 112, 917, 120, 911, 919, SA 321, 118, 1501, and SA 335, due to road closures, will depart exclusively from the Villa Longo bus stop, serving as the sole passenger boarding location.

Buses 715 and 915 departing from Matera:

• Bus 715 (Matera–Pisticci/Montalbano) and Bus 915 (Matera–Ferrandina) will depart at 14:20 from Via Carlo Levi (S. Antonio), towards Ospedale.

Buses arriving in Matera from Bari:

• Buses no. 107, 151, 151 bis, 155 bis, and 111, arriving from Bari, will stop exclusively at Villa Longo bus stop for passenger drop-off.

Continuing your Journey:

Passengers using bus replacement services who wish to continue their journey to other Matera stations may use the metro railway service, which will be intensified during this period.
