Bus route change in Potenza

We inform our valued passengers that on the occasion of the 109th Giro d’Italia and the football match scheduled at the Viviani stadium, the Municipality of Potenza has ordered the closure of the city center to vehicular traffic on May 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the end of requirements.

Therefore, on the day and during the time slot indicated, all services entering and leaving Potenza will undergo the following route changes:

1) Services coming from Pignola (which will only operate via VIA TORA until 5:00 PM) – ABRIOLA – LAURENZANA will follow this route:

Potenza McDonald’s – Potenza Inferiore Scalo – viale Del Basento – via Appia – San Rocco – Santa Maria – HOSPITAL – via Anzio – FAL Gallitello Depot.

2) Services departing from Potenza and heading to Pignola (operating only via VIA TORA until 5:00 PM) – Abriola and Laurenzana will follow the reverse route, respecting the General Service Timetable in force for the departure from the HOSPITAL.

3) Service no. 414 will depart at the scheduled time from Abriola and will be routed via ANZI and Diga Camastra to reach Potenza; the Pignola and Pantano stops will be temporarily suspended.

4) Service no. 420 will not depart at 2:30 PM from Pignola as per the General Service Timetable, but at 2:40 PM from the Fontana di Pantano.

5) Service no. 1410 will depart at 2:10 PM from via Anzio and will not perform the scheduled departure at 2:00 PM from Rione Betlemme.

ALL REPLACEMENT SERVICES POTENZA / GENZANO AND POTENZA / AVIGLIANO AND VICE VERSA WILL FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING ROUTE FROM 1:00 PM UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY:

• Services arriving in Potenza, after the San Rocco stop, will be routed via VIA APPIA – VIALE DEL BASENTO – POTENZA INFERIORE SCALO – GALLITELLO TERMINAL – FAL DEPOT.
• Services departing from POTENZA FAL DEPOT GALLITELLO TERMINAL / POTENZA INFERIORE SCALO will be routed via VIALE DEL BASENTO – VIA APPIA – SAN ROCCO before resuming the established route.

Therefore, the stops at Potenza Città (REPLACEMENT SERVICE), Potenza p.zza Vittorio Emanuele II (p.zza XVIII agosto), and Potenza viale Marconi will be suspended from 1:00 PM until the end of the day.
