Bus Route Change in Matera

Please be informed that, on the occasion of the religious celebration in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua, the Municipality of Matera has ordered the closure to traffic of certain city streets on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Therefore, all FAL BUS services entering and leaving Matera will observe the following changes:

• SERVICES departing from Matera to Montescaglioso and Ferrandina will travel via Timmari (Fire Department area), S.S.7, entering from Matera Sud via S.P. 10, then resuming the regular route.

Reverse route for services entering Matera

• SERVICES arriving from Ferrandina and Montescaglioso, after stopping on S.P. 10 near the Hospital roundabout, will travel again on S.P. 10 and subsequently on S.S.7.

Reverse route for services leaving Matera

Please also note that, during the affected time period, stops for boarding and alighting passengers on Via C. Levi and S. Antonio will be suspended.

The first available stops will be located on Via Timmari (only for services leaving Matera); S.P. 10 near the Hospital roundabout (for services entering and leaving Matera); on Via Montescaglioso near the Lascaro gas station (for services entering and leaving Matera).
