Bus Route Change in Altamura

Please be advised that on the occasion of the celebrations in honor of Saint Irene, the city center of Altamura will be closed to vehicular traffic on May 5, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Therefore, all affected FAL bus services entering and leaving Altamura will follow the itinerary below:

1) From 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM

Services arriving from Bari and heading to Matera and Gravina will follow this route:

Via Bari – Via Vittorio Veneto (P.zza Santa Teresa) – Via Gravina – SS96 – SS99 for Matera – SS96 for Gravina.

The reverse route will be taken by services arriving from Matera and Gravina and heading to Bari.

2) From 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Bus services arriving from Bari and heading to Matera will follow the route established in the current schedule: via Bari – via Mura Megalitiche – HUB via Santeramo;

Bus services arriving from Bari and heading to Gravina will follow the route established in the current schedule: via Bari – via Mura Megalitiche – HUB piazzale Stazione FS – viale Padre Pio da Pietrelcina.

The reverse route will be taken by services arriving from Matera and Gravina and heading to Bari.
