Please be advised that, on the occasion of “Carnival Parade 2025“, the Municipality of Altamura has arranged for the closure of the town centre to vehicular traffic on Sunday, 2 March 2025 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and on Tuesday, 4 March 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Accordingly, on the specified dates and times, all affected FAL bus services will follow the following alternative route:

• Buses coming from Bari will travel via:

Via Bari – Via Mura Megalitiche – Via Santeramo – the Ring Road SS99 towards Matera or SS96 towards Gravina;

• The reverse route will apply for services heading to Bari.

The only stops for boarding and alighting will be at Via Santeramo (near the Church of the Transfiguration), Via Mura Megalitiche (at the corner with Via Bari) and Via Bari (in the Parco San Giuliano area).
