Bus route change in Altamura

Please be advised that, on the occasion of the celebrations in honour of “S. Maria Assunta” and the “Madonna del Buoncammino” – “Cavalcata”, on 14, 15, 16 and 17 August 2025, the town centre of Altamura will be closed to vehicular traffic from 16:00 on 14 August 2025 to 23:59 on 16 August 2025, and on Sunday 17 August 2025 from 15:00 to 23:59.

Therefore, on the above-mentioned days and during the specified time slots, all FAL bus services concerned, either arriving from or bound for Bari, will follow the route below:

SS96 – Via Palestro – Via Santeramo – right turn into the HUB for passenger boarding and alighting (SOLE STOP IN ALTAMURA) – exit via R. Scotellaro with a left turn – Via Santeramo – Via Palestro – SS96 towards Matera/Gravina/Bari.

All affected services will use the currently scheduled timetable for the Via Vittorio Veneto (SANTA TERESA) stop in Altamura as the reference time for the intermodal HUB.
