Bari Centrale–Grumo Appula railway section to reopen on August 31

We inform our valued passengers that, from Monday, August 31, 2026, train services on the Bari Centrale–Grumo Appula railway section will be reactivated according to the planned schedule.

The reopening of this section concludes this phase of the scheduled works on the line, allowing for the restoration of the railway connection along the entire Bari Centrale–Gravina route.

Starting from August 31, the General Railway Service Timetable for the Bari–Altamura–Gravina–Matera line, which was in effect prior to the service interruption, will be adopted, resulting in the restoration of the regular train schedule.

Schedules will be available for consultation starting from Sunday, August 30, 2026 through:

• the “Search and buy your trip” search function;
• the “Timetables and Fares” section;
• the attached schedule prospectus.

The reopening of the section, completed in compliance with the planned schedule, represents a significant milestone in the completion of the programmed interventions.
