Bus route change in Potenza from March 2, 2026

We wish to inform our passengers that the Municipality of Potenza, by Executive Order, has established a one-way traffic system on Corso Garibaldi towards Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and a transit ban for vehicles with a tare weight exceeding 3.5 t on Viale Dante. Consequently, the following stops will be temporarily suspended: Piazza Crispi – Corso Garibaldi – Piazza XVIII Agosto – Via Vaccaro and Viale Dante.

Therefore, starting from March 2, 2026, and until further notice, all bus services and rail replacement services of Ferrovie Appulo Lucane will follow the schedule below:

• FAL bus services and Train Replacement Services coming from Santa Maria and directed to Via Cavour will continue along Corso Garibaldi, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (Piazza 18 Agosto), Via Vaccaro, Viale del Basento (McDonald’s), and then resume their established route;
• FAL bus services coming from Viale del Basento (McDonald’s) and Train Replacement Services coming from Potenza Inferiore Scalo will continue on Viale Marconi, Via Torraca, Via Cavour, and then resume their established route;
• Bus service no. 1405 (Avigliano-Potenza) will follow this route: Ospedale San Carlo (7:25 AM) – via Anzio (7:30 AM) – via del Gallitello (7:35 AM) – viale Marconi (7:40 AM) – corso Garibaldi – p.zza Vittorio Emanuele II – 18 agosto (7:45 AM) – via Vaccaro (7:50 AM) – Potenza FAL Depot (8:00 AM);

Please also note that, starting from March 2, 2026, the public transport stop located in via Anzio (downhill direction only) near the Istituto Alberghiero will be suspended, and a new stop in via della Cittadinanza Attiva will be established approximately 300m away.
