Pubblicato il 02/10/2025

We inform interested users that tomorrow, OCTOBER 3, the Trade Unions Unione Sindacale Di Base (USB) and the National Confederation CGIL have called a general strike lasting 24 (twenty-four) hours, for all categories of public and private work, which FILT CGIL joined on October 2, 2025.
This strike has been called for the following reasons:
– “…the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory has concluded that Israel is responsible for genocide in Gaza…and its President Navanethem Pillay has stated that all States have a legal obligation to use all means reasonably at their disposal to stop the genocide in Gaza”;
– “In the face of such a lack of action to stop the genocide by the Italian Government, a large part of the working world has decided not to be complicit….and a qualified representation has joined the Global Sumud Flotilla….which headed towards Gaza to bring food aid….”
– “This exactly embodies the case provided for in paragraph 7 of art.2 L.146/90 which regulates the need for the workers’ movement to take action “in defense of the constitutional order, or in protest against events harmful to the safety and security of workers”….”Please be informed that the data relating to the percentages of participation recorded by the aforementioned Trade Unions in the last strike are:
– USB LP 5.32%
– FILT CGIL 4.10%
All services will be guaranteed during the protected time slots, namely from 5:30 AM to 8:30 AM and from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, whose schedules are indicated in the attached prospectus, along with the union bulletins.
At the end of the strike, the service will resume regularly.
It is noted that, on 02.10.2025, the Guarantee Commission deemed the general strike called for tomorrow, October 3
, illegitimate, as it violates the legal obligation of notice provided for by Law 146/1990.
